Black Nurses Rock (BNR) Membership Testimonial
Being a member of Black Nurses Rock has been truly transformative in both my personal and professional life. The leadership development, mentorship, and opportunities for professional growth have been highly influential in shaping who I am today.
Through BNR, I have strengthened meaningful professional relationships and expanded my ability to serve with purpose and confidence.
As someone who serves on several boards within my community and as a proud entrepreneur and founder of Tiny Hugs Learning Academy, the support and empowerment I receive from BNR continue to elevate my leadership, vision, and commitment to excellence.
Black Nurses Rock is more than an organization—it is a powerful network that uplifts, equips, and inspires.
I am grateful to be part of a community that celebrates leadership, service, and sisterhood.

As VP of the Black Nurses Rock Foundation and President of the Black Nurses Rock Foundation DMV Chapter, I have witnessed firsthand the powerful impact this organization has on nurses and the communities we serve. The Foundation provides a vital platform that uplifts, supports, and empowers Black nurses that will lead and serve in vulnerable communities.
As a part of the Black Nurses Rock Foundation, our chapter is able to bring meaningful programs directly into underserved communities—creating spaces to improve health outcomes, advocacy and hope. This work is not only necessary, it is transformative, and I am honored to serve within an organization so deeply committed to improving health equity.
